Royal Professionals FC began with a direct idea: bring ambitious young people together through football, build their capacity and open a road toward something greater.

The word “professional” is not where the club starts. It is what every part of the journey is meant to become.
Royal Professionals FC is a community-based football club established by King Alberto Kluson in 2017. The founding purpose was to mobilise talented youth in Takla and surrounding communities through sporting activity.
The idea was never restricted by geography. By the club’s 2022 public account, players had also come from Accra, Togo and Nigeria—an early signal that the project’s identity could travel beyond its home.

The founding concern was practical: give young people a serious sporting environment that could keep them away from violence and other social vices. Football became the gathering point; development became the larger objective.
The club’s public vision also reaches beyond a playing career. Leadership committed to building players’ wider capacities so they could remain valuable in society after football—an unusually important idea for a young community club.

The Place
Takla, in the Asogli State
The badge carries
where we come from.
Takla is one of the traditional areas of the Asogli State in the Ho Municipality. Royal Professionals FC carries that local identity into football: rooted in place, open to people from beyond it.
The wider community continues to show a strong youth-sport culture. In 2025, Takla Circuit recorded a notable win in U-15 boys’ football at Ho’s Inter-Circuit Sports Festival. It is part of the environment from which future talent can emerge.
